From Isaiah 61 verse 1; saying; the Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good tidings to the afflicted; – Reversed Standard version.
Poverty is an affliction
Poverty being a curse; can be caused. It can also be called a yoke; or a problem. Poverty is thus defined as a curse of lack of necessary requirements.
2nd Corinthians 8 verse 9; says; you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might be rich.
Overcoming Poverty
Overcoming the mindset of Poverty is by the GRACE of God. 2nd Corinthians 8 verse 9; says; you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might be rich.
This GRACE of God; is the Word of God; called the TRUTH; the Word of God and the Holy Spirit of God. John 6 verse 63; says; it is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
John 8 verse 32; says; you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
This GRACE of God; is the GIFT of God to mankind. Titus 2 verse 11; says; the grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared to all men,
John 3 verse 16; says; God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Psalms 107 verse 20; says; He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Jesus is the Word of God that is sent to become the light of the world. As many as received him he gave power to become the sons of God.
John 1 verse 12; says; as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Mark 6 verse 7; says; he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
Acts 1 verse 8; says; you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Power of the truth; power of a child of God; or knowledge of the Word of God; or the power of the Holy Spirit; are the weapons to defeat the spirit or the curse of poverty.
