Wisdom for Mentorship
1. The mentee wants to learn; the mentor must be able to supply a suitable answer. The disciples of Jesus asked: “why could we not cast out the demons?”
2. The mentee wants to see a leader; the mentor must be a proper example. The mentor must not be a complainer. But Moses complained: In Numbers 20 verse 10; Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? Elisha did not complain: The sons of the prophets asked Elisha to go with them. In 2 Kings 6 verse 3; one said; be content, I pray to go with your servants. And he answered, I will go.
